When Daddy Wakes Up First

Denali started making waking up noises a few minutes before Adam's alarm went off this morning. Oftentimes she'll kind of doze in and out of sleep for a while this way and I stay in bed till she sounds truly awake. And this morning I was also hoping that Adam might take care of her until he left for work so I could sleep.

About twenty minutes after he got up she was especially noisy and I figured that he had left her in her crib, so I got up. She wasn't in her crib and I finally found her out in her swing in the kitchen while Adam was getting his lunch together. I was happy he'd gotten her up and changed her and a little puzzled by her outfit. This is what she was wearing....



I said, "Wow Honey! She looks so cute! Why'd you decide to put her in a dress?" He replied with something to this effect..."Well, the dress is SO pretty and she's going to grow out of it soon and I thought it would be a shame if she didn't get to wear it again. And I put on the beanie so she could be a little gangsta." Haha! Yep, that's daddy logic for ya! Gotta love it! But I agree, she does look cute in her dress! Not sure how "gangsta" the Winnie The Pooh beanie is though....
